No sharp objects, No alcohol, No smoking will be allowed on any of the vehicles hired No chewing gum or any other food or drink to be consumed on our vehicles, if the vehicle is damaged or soiled by any passengers these must be paid for. We have a minimum charge of £75.00.
We must advise teachers travelling with children to make sure that a teacher is sitting next to the emergency door or exits.
Hirers are requested to ensure that all passengers are ready to board the vehicle at the appointed time. Under no circumstances will drivers permit extra passengers over the legal capacity of the vehicle. No animals are permitted except animals used for guidance.
There is a weight limit on our coaches for carrying goods, such as gifts, drinks and shopping you must ask our company before booking , the weight limit has to be adhered to the rules and regulations of the ministry of transport.
Express travel will not be held responsible for lost property although the vehicle will be checked after each job and anything found would be held for collection for the legally required time, we will not be held responsible for anything lost, stolen or damaged.
Express travel will not be liable for any traffic delays, but in the event of breakdowns we will endeavour to provide transport A.S.A.P.
Any unauthorised time over fifteen minutes will be charged up to 16 seater minibus at £20.00 and over 16 seater will be £30.00 an hour if you are likely to be late please let us know as soon as possible.
Hirers are reminded that each passenger should have a form E111 and travel insurance (both available from Post Offices). We are required to furnish the ferry operator with a document detailing names and details of all passengers. Please ask a member of staff about this when booking.
For safety reasons the driver of the coach is not requested to go on any small roads or near any low bridges or low hanging trees that are unsuitable area for the coach.
Please do not stand or move about while the vehicle is in motion and do not distract the driver due safety reasons.
Express Travel Services Booking Terms & ConditionsQuotationsAny quotation given will only apply to hire’s booked within 28 days based on information supplied by the hirer. And will exclude entrance fees and any other unforeseen costs apart from continental travel ferry or tunnel crossing. Any changes to the details may alter the quotation. Any destination not on the booking form will incur a minimum cost of £6.00 per drop or ½ mile up to 16 seater minibus and over 16 seater £10.00 per drop or ½ mile in distance. Payments and CancellationsNo booking is confirmed until a complete confirmation form is signed and returned with a deposit of 50% when booking, the balance of payment for vehicle hire must be paid in full within seven days of travel if paying by cheque made payable to EXPRESS TRAVEL SERVICES LTD, or 2 days if paying cash. If a booking is cancelled within 14 days of travel a 25% cancellation charge will be made if less than 14 days there will be loss of 50%, if the cancellation is beyond the hirer’s control please contact the company immediately, a deposit can be held pending a rebooking at the next available date that is convenient to all parties.
